December 3rd was London Western's Annual Awards Gala. This year's location did not disappoint, as were graciously hosted by Sunningdale Golf and Country Club. The food was fantastic, the kids looked sharp and everyone had a great time. The evening began with our guest speaker, Dave Bailey. Dave was Canada's first sub-4min miler and an Olympian. He told some great stories, with the underlying theme that sports build not only great athletes, but great people and that student-athletes develop great skills that are highly applicable to the work world. Draw prizes were handed out and we launched our new logo.
The evening was capped off by handing out this year's awards for our top athletes in each age category.
