Welcome to London Western Track and Field Club's new website. It's clean, simple, informative and interactive. A lot of small changes were made to create a big impact. Details such as the style and size of font and colour schemes have made the new site more visually appealing. What is most important, is access to information. We wanted current members and potential new members who visit the site to be able to quickly find what they are looking for and with our new layout and menu options, we've accomplished that. Current members wanting to see what meets are coming up can click on Schedule for a full listing of cross country and track and field meets as far ahead as the next season, provided that information is available to us. Not sure when Awards Night is taking place? It's in the schedule. (Pssst! It's December 3rd. More details coming) Practice schedule is available here, too! If a practice has been cancelled (say, due to a playoff hockey game) it will be listed here, as well as holidays or any other reason the track may not be available.
Potential members want to know what programs we offer, who our coaches are, membership options and associated costs. It's all available now. AND... registration is available online. Click on Registration and fill out the form. Done! For financial and security reasons, we've decided to not offer online payments, so we'll continue to take cash and cheques. Bring the waiver form and payment to your first practice to finalize your membership.
We have partnered with Source For Sports for all of our club-branded clothing and you now have the option to SHOP ONLINE. This will become available in the very near future.
The new website is the first step in our rebranding process. Our club has done incredible things over the past 45 years. We want to continue to do incredible things for the next 45 years and look sharp doing it. Our new logo is ready to go and will be launched on December 3rd at our Awards Gala!
